DIRECTIONS FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (Highway 41)
Take Interstate 5 north to Bakersfield, then take route 99 north – to Fresno. (The left lanes of I-5 become Rte. 99 just before Bakersfield).

Looking for the closest airports to Yosemite National Park?

In Fresno, exit off 99, taking Highway 41 north – Yosemite. Follow 41 through Oakhurst all the way to the Southern entrance of the Park. There’s grocery stores in Oakhurst; Von’s, a large chain grocery store is located at the bottom of the hill on the left, coming into Oakhurst. Raley’s, which has a GREAT organic and health food department, is across the street from Von’s. Either is a good choice. This is where you should buy food!

Proceed up 41 to the gate ($20 entry fee), turn left and drive 16 miles (approximately 45 minutes). Special note: Once you get inside the park, the park rangers will enforce the speed limit, especcially in Wawona. DO NOT SPEED!

During this drive you will pass several creek signs. After the “Rail Creek” sign, continue for another 1.4 miles and you will see the “Yosemite West – Private Development” sign, on the left.

Turn left into Yosemite West (Henness Ridge Road), and drive another 0.8 miles to our mailboxes on the right, where you make an immediate left turn uphill. Proceed for one block (0.3 miles) uphill to the first building on your right.

You will see the “Yosemite’s Four Seasons Vacation Rentals” sign and an American flag above the entrance to your Sign-in and Guest Services Facility. Please check in with us and we will let you know how to get to your unit.

Don’t forget your groceries! And don’t forget to fill up your tank before you come into the park. Gas availability is limited to Crane Flat, Wawona and Tuolumne Meadows, with NO GAS IN THE VALLEY! Plus it costs a dollar more per gallon than in non-park locations.

Please, be sure to call 1-800-427-ROAD (California Roads) and 1-209-372-0200 (Yosemite National Park Roads) for most updated road conditions.

DIRECTIONS FROM HIGHWAY 120 or 140
Follow all signs to Yosemite Valley and proceed into Yosemite Valley. As you come into Yosemite Valley you’ll come to a stop sign at Pohono Bridge. You’ll turn right (one way) and immediately cross Pohono Bridge. (Just around the corner is Fern Spring, featuring some of the cleanest, best-tasting water you will ever find. Fill water bottles and your RV tank here) Turn at the next right at Bridalveil Fall and go uphill. After passing Bridalveil Falls, proceed uphill through the 0.8 mile long Wawona Tunnel and then 8 more miles to the “Yosemite West – Private Development” sign, on your right. (You will see on your left, the Badger Pass – Glacier Point Road, 0.5 miles before arriving at the Yosemite West turn.)

Turn right into Yosemite West (Henness Ridge Road), and drive another 0.8 miles to our mailboxes on the right, where you make an immediate left turn uphill.

The last stops for groceries are in Oakhurst (Hwy. 41), Mariposa (Hwy. 140), Oakdale (Hwy. 120 from Modesto) and Lee Vining (Hwy. 120 from the eastern approach to the Park – SUMMER ONLY !!!). There are two small markets approximately 25 minutes travel time from here, but are less reasonable and have a more limited selection.

Please, be sure to call 1-800-427-ROAD (California Roads) and 1-209-372-0200 (Yosemite National Park Roads) for most updated road conditions.
