Dear Friends,
I great you from Yosemite
“Dreamscapes and Imaginary Worlds” is the theme for this year’s Young Master’s Youth Exhibition. The youth of Mariposa County will exhibit their work at The Treetop Gallery in Mariposa.
The Mariposa County Arts Council is proud to present its annual Young Master’s Youth Exhibition, which will run February 4 through 28, 2016, with a public opening reception on February 4, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at the Treetop Gallery.
This special juried exhibition provides the youth of Mariposa County with the opportunity to express their ideas, narratives, and inspirations with their community through their own pieces of original visual artwork and offers the community a chance to view the world through our youths’ perspective.
This year’s theme “Dreamscapes and Imaginary Worlds” invites young artists in our community to delve into their imaginations and share with us the characters, creatures, landscapes, and stories that exist inside their minds.
The Treetop Gallery is located at 5009 Highway 140, upstairs from Chocolate Soup and is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday; and 10am to 5pm on the weekends (on the weekends please enter through Chocolate Soup’s downstairs entrance).
“Dreamscapes and Imaginary Worlds” is this year’s theme for this year’s Young Master’s Youth Exhibition. Scenic Wonders encourages all to support the local arts and the young artists by viewing their artwork.
